CAS Scotland have arranged to meet with the SQA on the issue of internal marking of coursework, and we aim to be representative of the vast majority of CS teachers.
An earlier discussion on CompEdNet about this issue garnered around 50 written responses, from which we have distilled a number of key concerns. Over three-quarters of these respondents were in favour of external assessment. We now want to get as large a response as possible, and so have prepared a very brief questionnaire to determine the level of agreement with these key concerns. It should take less than two minutes to complete.
The questionnaire is on a Google form at http://j.mp/ext-as-survey.  If your school blocks Google forms, please please complete the form at home – and also, contact as many colleagues as you can about this. The more responses, the stronger case we are able to make.
