Hello, Cyber Discovery is seeking talented students to become cyber security experts.
Can you help us find them? In schools across the UK, there are thousands of teenagers with the skills to become future leaders in cyber security. They just haven’t been discovered yet. That’s why we created Cyber Discovery: to uncover, support, and train a new generation in one of the most in-demand industries in the UK. Cyber Discovery is an HM Government-funded, extracurricular programme and an integral part of the UK’s National Cyber Security strategy. As part of the CyberFirst portfolio, Cyber Discovery aims to develop the UK’s next generation of cyber professionals. Today, we’re asking you to help uncover these future stars by becoming a Cyber Discovery Club Leader .
What Cyber Discovery can do for you Whether you’re a Computer Science Teacher looking for extra resource to engage your students, a Careers Advisor wanting to open doors into an exciting industry, or an Art Teacher looking to do something different, Cyber Discovery can help. Our four-stage online programme introduces students between 13 and 18 to the world of cyber security and prepares them to join this exciting industry. We provide everything you need to run a Cyber Discovery Club; all you need to do is help motivate the students to join in. Over 50,000 students and 2,500 teachers have already taken part and rated their experience as ‘good’ or ‘very good’. Our previous students have gone on to study computer science at top universities, gain industry placements, and enjoy a whole new world of possibilities. Help us reach even more students by joining today and starting your own Cyber Discovery Club.
Become a Cyber Discovery Club Leader As a Club Leader, you can help motivate, engage, and discover the talent in your classroom. Along with this letter, you’ll ind posters which can be used around your school to encourage your students to join your club, as well as a short guide to explain the programme in more detail. The programme is completely free and will provide you with hundreds of hours of educational content for your students. If you’d like some more information before getting involved, we’d love to hear from you. You can ind us on social media @CyberDiscUK or email us at hello@joincyberdiscovery.com.
