Some of you may know that in July this year I was asked by the Cabinet Secretary to be part of the ICT Excellence Group which is Chaired by Muffy Calder, the governments chief scientific adviser. This group was charged with defining the long term future of Glow and to provide advice about the future use of technology in our schools.
On Friday we published A Digital Learning Environment for Scottish Schools and today we published a number of follow up documents focused on the proposed model for the core portal and user stories to illustrate how the service would/could be used. These user stories are available on a Glow Blog here (https://blogs.glowscotland.org.uk/glowblogs/ICTExGroupUserStories/).
If you have time please have a look at these proposals (which include an API to allow any developer or learner to build his/her own tools inside Glow) and add your comments to the User Stories blog and/or the Engage for Education blog.
Thanks
