As a result of stakeholder feedback, SQA is holding a number of Understanding Standards Events for Higher Computing Science Course assessment in early September 2015. The dates and locations for these events are:
- Monday 7th September 2015             Aberdeen
- Tuesday 8th September 2015             Stirling
- Wednesday 9th September 2015         Glasgow
- Friday 11th September 2015             Edinburgh
The events will provide delegates with the opportunity to review and discuss candidate evidence and the allocation of marks for this evidence, as well as develop their understanding of standards for the Higher Course assessment.Â
Many practitioners will have been on holiday when these events were first advertised and may therefore not be aware that they are now available for booking. To raise further awareness, I am contacting you to ask if you could highlight these events to Computing Science practitioners in your centre and/or sector. Your support in this would be greatly appreciated.
